I started this original project about 10 years ago.  That was back in the year 1998 just to keep track. Time changes and I don't wish to keep changing the dates on this page every year.

Back then it was meant as a teaching tool to help teach my son.  As it is he hasn't come to be to learn.  Actually he hasn't shown any interest.  Such is life, I have learned to live with it.

Originally it was only 4 pages in length.  Over the next couple of years it has slowly grown in size.

After a few years I decided to put it up on the web. The original web site covered a lot more things then magic. At the time however I liked to believe they all went together nicely.  Maybe they did and maybe they didn't.  Who knows this far in time.

The program I was using to create the web site didn't work as this one.  It become quite complicated and a hassle to work with. The result was that I stopped using it for a few years.

A few years ago I decided to start writing again.  The old version was way to messed up to fix easily.  I decided to rewrite the whole thing from scratch.  I did this in about three months time.  I used up almost all of my free time to do it.

I put this version back up in November of 2007.  That start up date is still on my web site and I expect to keep it there.

For the first month or two I still spent a lot of time adding and rewriting things even after it was up on the web. I am not working on it as compulsively as I used to. Every month or so I go back to it for a few days here and there.
